Want to join our team and develop your professional skills? Translat employs translators, proofreaders, interpreters, and court interpreters for all languages.
We expect you:
- to be college graduates in linguistic and/or other areas, preferably native speakers,
- have several years of experience in the translation business,
- prove regular attendance at training courses in translation/linguistic field; if possible, we expect you to present us with adequate certificates (copies of certificates in translation and /or proofreading workshops or seminars etc),
- be capable of producing high-quality, highly accurate, and reliable translations/proof readings/interpreting, and
- to follow our principles in translating/interpreting, which is to accurately transfer the meaning of the original into the target language, while at the same time paying attention to the accuracy of target language syntax and respecting the rules in target language grammar. We expect you to able to provide texts written in appropriate style and register and avoid copying the syntax structure in target sentences from the source language patterns. We also expect you to able to provide high quality proof readings, if applicable.
